OPEN PHOTO WINNERS!

The VAAA Gallery would like to congratulate the winner of the Open Photo competition and exhibition, Megan Kemshead. As the first place winner, Megan won a solo exhibition to be held at the Tu Gallery. Honourable mentions went to  Candace Makowichuk, Scott Dimond, Cameron Young, Michael Todor, and Aaron Falkenberg. We'd like to extend a special thank you to our Guest Juror, Bob Chelmick, for all his time and effort. CONGRATULATIONS to all participants for a great show, and we look forward to seeing many great submissions next year!

CURRENT EXHIBITION

The VAAA Gallery is pleased to present DIVERSITY 2008, June 19 to July 29, 2008, the annual juried membership exhibition show and sale.

UPCOMING EXHIBITION

The VAAA Gallery is pleased to present ALBERTA-WIDE 2008, , the the 6th annual exhibition of award winning art works by the talented membership of The Alberta Community Art Clubs Association.  Alberta Wide 2006 comes direct from the Alberta-wide juring process at the Red Deer & District Museum to the VAAA Gallery, and celebrates the accomplished artists from all corners of the province.

VAAA VOICE NEWSLETTER

The VAAA Voice Newsletter is issued quarterly and provides Alberta visual artists with current information on opportunities to exhibit, calls for public commissions, competitions, articles on professional development, viewpoint articles by Alberta artists, as well as local, national and international visual arts news.
